Do you and your child express an interest and love of music? Have you always wanted to learn how to play the violin?

Laura’s studio offers violin lessons for all ages, with all abilities. Students learn at their own pace with individual instruction, and socially enriched additional group classes, in a nurturing, but disciplined environment.

The Suzuki Method is based on the “mother tongue” approach; children learn initially by ear, imitation and repetition, with a parent or “coach”, attending lessons and assisting them at home during daily practice.

Along with learning how to play the violin, other important skills are developed: learning independently and in a social setting, communication skills for musical and emotional expression, problem solving, focus, increased memory skills, a deeper appreciation and respect for one another in parent/child relationships and the community, and fostering a sense of wonder and joy in learning.

Adults are also welcome in the program! Share the joy of music.
